當一款揚聲器擁有傳奇級的前輩時，要接續其地位並非易事。RUBIKORE 系列的誕生，正是為了將 KORE 和 EPIKORE 型號的頂尖技術帶入更親民的價位區間。

When a speaker has a legendary predecessor, succeeding it is complex. The Rubikore series is now supposed to transfer the top technology of the Kore and Epikore models into affordable regions.

我們這次測試的 DALI RUBIKORE 8，擁有極具吸引力的外觀，採用略帶藍色光澤的高光黑色飾面。這款落地式揚聲器高度超過 110 公分，每支重量達 30 公斤，展現出穩重大氣的設計，同時仍保有適合居家環境的纖細外型。可以說，它給人的印象是震撼而不顯壓迫，足以符合多數人的需求。以價格來看，確實不算便宜，但對於真正的鑑賞家而言，這筆金額並不會讓人猶豫，因為它的價值似乎恰如其分。正如我們即將看到——更重要的是，即將聆聽到的——這價格甚至顯得相當實惠。嗯，幾乎如此。

The exceptionally attractive DALI Rubikore 8, our test sample coming in a slightly blue shimmering, high gloss black, is a full-grown, yet still ambient-friendly slender floor standing speaker measuring over 110 centimeters in height and a weight of 30 kilograms per speaker. Impressive, but not expansive, one could say. Compatible with the majority of people. And with a pair price of 7,000 euros certainly not cheap, but this sum does not make the connoisseur hesitate. Because it seems appropriate. As we will see – and above all hear – even rather cheap. Well, almost.

高貴的技術配置

在這組成熟的高音單元下方，一顆搭載 Clarity Cone 技術的中音單元負責中頻部分。該單元採用強化木纖維的紙盆振膜，並融入全新的壓紋設計，以有效降低共振影響。其響應速度極快，使其與高音單元無縫銜接，同時保有平滑細膩的聲音特質，使 DALI 擁有開放、通透且不易聽覺疲勞的風格。

同樣基於速度與瞬態響應的考量，低頻部分選擇了兩顆 16.5 公分的低音單元同步運作，而非單顆較大但可能反應遲緩的低音單元。這兩顆單元同樣配備新的壓紋設計，確保快速響應與強勁的低頻表現。三顆單元的配置，使得從低頻到中頻的聲音更加飽滿有力，同時也賦予了強勁而緊湊的低頻衝擊力。值得提前透露的是，DALI 在低頻表現上不僅擁有充足的能量感，還保持了異常精準的控制力。

這樣的多單元分工設計，還帶來了另一項優勢——有效降低單元的振幅負擔。由於每個單元都能在其低失真、線性範圍內運作，大部分時間都遠離其機械極限，因此聲音表現更為穩定，失真度更低。

Noble equipment

The Danish speaker is equipped with everything that the parts storage in North Jut- land offers in terms of top performance. Thus, at the top end of the speaker, we find the already legendary, hybrid arrangement of a fabric dome and ribbon tweeter, which guarantees a delicate high-fre-quency range and uniquely and brilliantly combines the dynamics of the dome tweeter – quite large with 29 millimeters – with the detail resolution and brilliance of the almost massless ribbon driver. Taking heritage from the Kore series, it was redesigned and now does without liquid cooling via ferrofluid in the air gap of the dome, which allows it to play even more freely and quickly without compromises in load capacity.

Directly below this proven ensemble, a midrange driver with a paper cone membrane (Clarity Cone) is active, reinforced with woodfiber and equipped with new embossing patterns to reduce resonances. It acts so fast that it blends in seamlessly with the high-frequency dream team and yet plays so pleasantly smooth that it contributes to the practically fatigue-free, pleasant and yet open style of the DALI. For the same reason, namely starting speed and acceleration, instead of one very large, possibly sluggish model, two additional, synchronously oscillating – and again very fast – 16.5-millimeter woofers work in the lower frequencies, again featuring the new embossing pattern. Three such drivers in total are already an asset for powerful reproduction from low to mid-range, also favoring and helping a powerful kick bass and bass. This much in advance, the DALI does not lack pressure in the bass range at all, but it also remains unusually precise at the same time.

Another advantage of this division of labor is the halved stroke, so to speak, as each driver works in its particularly low- distortion, linear comfort zone, most of the time far from its mechanical limits.

複雜的分頻設計

對於振膜單元，DALI 採用了特製的 SMC（Soft Magnetic Compound）軟磁複合材料製成的雙磁鐵系統，確保驅動單元擁有充足的功率儲備，並有效降低磁滯失真。DALI 工程師在揚聲器設計領域擁有超過 40 年的經驗，這種細緻入微的調校可謂隨處可見，充分展現其深厚的技術實力。

Complex crossover

A firmly wired crossover with precision components from Mundorf and special SMC-Kore coils ensures the division of labor of the five drivers according to the unusual scheme 2 1⁄2+1/2+1/2-way. We need to explain that: A classic 2 1⁄2-way system works as if a two-way standmount speaker would reproduce the full frequency range, and below that, upward-limited bass drivers would only be responsible for support in the lower frequencies, like a subwoofer.

This is also the case here, but the ribbon tweeter only enters the action from 14 kilohertz upwards, and the last woofer only enters from 80 hertz downwards, a further division so to speak, partly supporting. Accordingly, there is a complex and thus elaborately equipped crossover managing this division of labor. With the cone drivers, particularly powerful double magnets made of the in-house, soft composite magnet material SMC ensure appropriate reserves. The more than 40 years of experience the DALI engineers have in building speakers is impressively noticeable everywhere in details.

Grandiose performance

Thanks to its relatively high efficiency of around 90 dB, the Epikore* 8 is also suitable for larger rooms and does not require monstrous power to unfold its sound. It behaves as an efficient sound transducer, rather „easily accelerated“ and comes to life even at low volumes. However, it brings the quality of the used electronics immediately to your ear and mercilessly reveals corresponding limitations.

Thus, you shouldn‘t save on the wrong end here because the DALI speaker improves almost unlimited, proportionally with the electronics, well into the highest level. On the other hand, as a relatively moderate load, it places no enormous technical demands on the driving amplifier. It should only and definitely be „good“ sounding. At least. A tired conductor completely unnecessarily slows the ensemble down.

和諧且充滿動態感

整個頻段範圍內的細節解析力極高，即使在複雜的音樂結構中，如管弦樂演奏，細節依然不會被掩蓋。DALI 能夠投射出寬廣且深邃的音場，並且在搭配優質電子設備時，聲音的擴展性甚至能超越揚聲器本身的物理邊界。時間相位與聲音層次的精準度異常優秀，即便採用了五單元設計，也能保持乾淨且有條理的聲音呈現。

無論是音量、音樂結構的複雜度，或是強勁的瞬態衝擊，這款揚聲器總是能夠游刃有餘，彷彿永遠未達到其極限。無論你如何挑戰它，它總能提供充沛的動態餘裕，聲音不會有壓縮感，也不會變得混濁不清。

Harmonious and dynamic

The size and depth of the DALI cabinets provide mighty pressure. That‘s pure physics, bass needs volume, and that is offered here – the three bass reflex ports on the back support this strongly and prevent blowing noises even at very high listening levels. The focus is intentionally more on the fast, crisp, precise reproduction of bass impulses, but also „low pressure“ is plentiful here. And that‘s a good thing.

The textures, background details of the low-frequency structures in other words, are unusually transparent in Supertramp‘s „School“, for example, and therefore easily traceable. The DALI always seems effortless and natural. This provides a vital-agile, detailed, and very rhythmically swinging music reproduction that is downright infectious and spontaneously captivates. The energy balance of the Rubikore is exemplary, very balanced and natural.

The offered detail resolution is very high across the entire offered bandwidth and is never lost even with more complex structures, for example orchestral ones. The DALI projects a fantastically wide, deep stage that also extends beyond the speakers with good electronics. Timing and depth staggering are unusually good and cleanly achieved, notwithstanding the five drivers. You get the impression that this speaker never fully explores its limits, no matter how much you „try it“. Whether it‘s level, complexity, juicy impulses: there always seem to be sufficient reserves left. Nothing compresses or becomes opaque.

即便面對極端考驗性的試音曲目，如 Flim & the BB's 的 TriCycle，其強勁的低音衝擊彷彿毫不費力地灌入空間，DALI 仍能夠從容應對，毫無壓力。DALI 官方標示的最大無失真聲壓級達 112dB，這在室內環境中已是驚人的水準，毋庸置疑。

無論是藍調、小型室內樂團演奏，還是 Michael Bublé 的 Big Band 爵士樂，甚至是 Mariss Jansons 指揮的德弗札克《第九號交響曲》（這恰好是本文作者的最愛古典作品之一），DALI 都能以充滿樂感與激情的方式呈現。這已經不僅僅是音樂，而是將情感具象化、讓情緒可被聆聽的藝術體驗。我們對這款揚聲器的表現，毫不掩飾地充滿熱情與讚嘆！

This is even the case with outrageously brutal demo software like „TriCycle“ by Flim & the BB‘s with its bass attacks, which are hurled into the room confidently and completely unimpressed. DALI states 112 decibels as the maximum undistorted sound pressure level. That is enormous in for an interior space, believe us.

On the other hand, the DALI Rubikore is also capable of working out the finest microdetails and even barely perceptible moods of the protagonists, for example in Joe Jackson‘s „A Slow Song“ and „I Can‘t Make You Love Me“ by Bonnie Raitt.

Whether Blues or chamber music in small ensembles or even Big Band music with Michael Bublé up to pressing tutti with Dvorak‘s „9th Symphony“ under Mariss Jansons, admittedly a favorite classical work of the author, the DALI plays with seemingly great joy. That is more than music; these are emotions made audible. You can tell that we are really enthusiastic about this speaker!

完美滿足——強力推薦！

從聲音表現來看，RUBIKORE 8 讓人想起 DALI 備受喜愛、價格更高的 EPICON 8 和 6。多年來，EPICON 6 一直是我們試聽室的參考級揚聲器，而 RUBIKORE 8 的表現竟能與之媲美，這本身就是對這款新系列旗艦最極致的讚美。

更令人驚喜的是，RUBIKORE 8 的潛力極大，即便透過 Bi-Wiring 或 Bi-Amping 這類升級調校，仍能顯著提升聲音表現，而其端子設計也完全支援這些進階玩法。這確實是一款卓越非凡的揚聲器！

就價格而言，它的價值無庸置疑，甚至超越了同價位產品的水準。對某些人來說，這款揚聲器或許不像**「高端音響界的 F1 賽車」那樣遙不可及**，而是一個仍在現實範圍內、值得努力存錢追求的夢想。

Perfectly satisfied – Recommendation!

In terms of sound, the Rubikore 8 reminds us very much of the beloved and at the time more expensive Epicon 8 and 6 of the manufacturer. The latter has for years been one of our listening room references, a higher-positioned series thus.

A nicer compliment can actually not really be given to the flagship of the new Rubikore series. The new DALI is so outrageously good that it can even be further exploited audibly with small to large tunings like bi-wiring or even bi-amping – the terminal makes all this possible. This is an absolutely outstanding speaker!

For the money anyway, but also beyond that. And this dream is for some definitely not – like the „Formula 1“ of High End – prohibitive, but at least still realistic as a goal to save up for. Completely breathtaking. Therefore and thus: Congratulations to Denmark!
