sMS-2000 的外型做得相當精緻，鋁合金的機殼共有黑、銀兩色可選，頂板和側板都有特殊的散熱，看起來比起過去時尚也更紮實。不只外型完成度高，我們都知道 SOtM 是 IT 設計的專家，這款產品也是用上 SOtM 近十年來核心技術的集大成作品，首先採用備受推崇的 sMB-Q370 主機板和處理器，結合高效能 i7 CPU 和 DDR4 RAM 記憶體，提供最強大的處理效能，換來的是更流暢的使用體驗。同時 sMS-2000 還整合了 SOtM 自家頂級的「USB 音訊主機卡 tX-USBx10G」和「乙太網路卡 sNI-1G 」，另外還用上了 sCLK-EX 模組，提供數位音訊最精準的時脈訊號，再輸出給 DAC 解碼。
操作上 sMS-2000 配備了 SOtM 強大的 Eunhasu 作業系統，支援許多數音訊播放軟體，包括 Roon、MPD 和 DLNA 等等方式。Eunhasu 作業系統是專為音響設計的，其好聲的秘訣，是去除了不必要的功能，只負責簡單的音頻功能，降低電腦的雜訊干擾，獲得更純淨的音質。
